INDOS stands for Indian National Database for Seafarers. It is a unique identification number issued to Indian seafarers by the Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India.
To get an INDOS number, you need to apply online through the DG Shipping portal, submit required documents including educational certificates, medical fitness certificate, and pay the prescribed fees.
Our institute's INDOS number is a unique identifier assigned by DG Shipping. Please contact our administration office for the specific INDOS number details.
STCW stands for Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers. It is an international convention that sets qualification standards for masters, officers and watch personnel on seagoing merchant ships.
